The Nook keeps to the smallest footprint a bedside can honestly occupy: one drawer for the things you reach for in the dark, one open shelf for the book you have not finished. Nothing else was added.

Cut from solid walnut with a turned brass pull, it is finished on all four sides so it can stand away from the wall without looking unfinished. The drawer runs on wooden rails that grow quieter with use.

Vacuum the velvet weekly with a soft-brush attachment, always working in the direction of the pile. Blot spills immediately with a dry, undyed cloth — never rub. For deeper cleaning, use a professional service certified for natural-fibre upholstery.

Luno manages the whole journey from our workshop in Indonesia to your address — export documentation, ocean freight, customs clearance, and standard duties and import charges. You are not the importer, and you never receive a separate freight or customs invoice.

Standard delivery is made to the first accessible doorstep, building entrance, or threshold, and will not exceed $299 per order for eligible addresses within the contiguous United States. White-glove delivery may be selected where available.

Standard collection pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery. A return fee of 25% of the product price is deducted from the refund, and delivery charges are not refunded. Pieces made with bespoke materials, off-menu colors, or altered dimensions are final sale.
